How do i get my green iguana to turn back green an eat?

he`s got brown scratch looking line all over him. Won`t eat, I force him water and theres no way with my budget I can take him to a exotic animal DR,so what can I do ? Force feed him???? I`m putting supplements in his water I feed him.
