Why would anyone be willing to spend $600 on a PS3?

The people that paid that much for the ps3, sold it on e-bay for a couple thousand.. Whats crazy is the people that paid that much for it. The only way I would of paid 600.00 for it if I were gooing to sell it for lots more and make a big profit.. The parents that paid all that money for the ps3 isnt teaching thier children good values.
