Should my husband and I have babies?

I had always thought I couldn't have babies due to a medical condition, and today I found out that I can. I had already accepted that I couldn't have babies- to the point that I decided that I wouldn't be a good mother and my husband and I would be better off as a a childfree couple. But now that I know I can get pregnant, I am terrified at the prospect of having babies. It's easy to say, "So then don't have babies!" My husband and I are devout Catholics and I'm afraid that it will make our marriage invalid if we don't at least try to have babies.
