Is it relatively easy to learn to play a 12 string guitar?

You have to really like it, and want to play it, and put an awful lot of time in, but if you enjoy it, that won't matter. The thing with a 12 is having 12 strings to replace, tune, etc. It's a great sounding instrument, but it can be a pain in the ***.
