Other than Ralph Nader, is there any presidential candidate who takes the argument of "The Israel Lobby"

seriously and would move the US toward a European-type neutral position in the Middle East? We seem to admire Europe on so many other issues - health care, capital punishment, all manner of intellectual and cultural endeavors- why not emulate them on this too? It might have prevented 9/11, and a future catastrophe too, if we had done something sooner. This religious and ethnic quarrel started millenia ago - read the bible for further details - so what is a young country half the globe away getting sucked in for? Can we really afford it in security and financial terms?
