What do you think it will take for Notre Dame to get back to competing for National Championships?

I think they will never get back to dominating the college football scene like they once did because of the 85 Scholarship rule and the academic standards are very high and why would you want to spend your winters in South Bend when you can spend them in Los Angeles or Gainsville, Fl or Austin, TX where their campuses are have a lot more fun anyway. I think they can get back to being a solid program with 8 or 9 wins and sprinkle a National Championship run ever now and then but it is going to be hard to get the main talent there to compete with Alabama and Florida and LSU and Texas. I think weis should be let go, but it is something else is the problem at ND. Do you think Notre Dame's problems will be fix by Firing Weis?
