What time do the shops shut in chester town centre?

Right im taking my girlfriend shopping this saturday in chester and have no idea what time the shops shut iv tied websites the lot and cant find it XD, i need to know cos iv booked a resteraunt for 7 and if they shut at half 5 i either need to change that or find something else for us to do in the meantime instead of improvising on the spot, any answers would be great help :)
