Pit bull attack on husky last night? Recovery tips?

This happened to my dog once but it was a chow chow that bit him. His neck swelled up really badly and almost died. I just was there for him i layed buy him every second of they day for a week straight i even slept with him at night. He seemed to feel better when i was there for him constantly. Maybe just alot of love and attention would make her feel better.
